Amazing how much the Diamond has changed since this photo was taken in 1958 the buildings in the background are the same. This is a great full colour photo from that era of what I assume are Gypsys on the Diamond, maybe during Market Day?

A County Donegal firm, Cargo Defenders, are producing tools to better secure tractor trailers with curtain sides and/or box trailers. HGV Ireland has an article about the company and their products:

http://www.hgvireland.com/12/14/cargo-defender-system-helps-fight-alcohol-theft/

The founders of the company are from Inishowen and received start-up capital and other prizes from The Dragon Factor.

The Dragon Factor, brainchild of the voluntary committee at Craoibhin,
was inspired by the success of RTE’s Dragon’s Den. The committee
launched this idea earlier this year in hope of injecting new optimism into the local economy, in some small way.
Inviting the people of Donegal to come forward with their ideas with
the prospect of starting their own business, applicants were asked to
think about the market they are operating in, who their customers are,
how they are going to generate income, what makes them different, what
the costs are, both once-off start up costs and first year operational
costs and where they want to see their business idea in 12 months time.

Read more about The Dragon Factor at their Web site at:

http://thedragonfactor.town.ie/

I think this is a great way to encourage and promote local businesses.
For many of us expats it can hard to get presents for family in Ireland.
It sounds like some of the passengers weren't too enthralled about being stuck in Killybegs, or maybe it was because of the length of time they were there:

"She told The News: ‘We’ve been stuck here since Tuesday. Killybegs is a very small town, you can go round it in ten minutes."

I'm surprised the Cruise company didn't try and arrange some site-seeing tours as there's some great sightseeing around there.
